Hi! Hope everyone is having a good day. This time around, I'll share my experience in Kuching for the third time. Have I told you before as to why I always travel to Kuching? Actually my sister is studying there. Since my parents are quite busy and since I really love to travel, I'm the one who will always visit her there. But, this time, my mum joined me in my short travel adventure. If you want to read my previous adventures in Kuching, please click here.
On our first day, we just strolled around the city centre, visiting mostly museums and streets.
Then, we went to a casual restaurant, serving Sarawak cuisine for dinner. We tried some of the dishes that we never ate before. The food was average though. But still, Alhamdulillah we still have food to eat compared to the less fortunates.
Nasi Goreng Dabai
Linut and Sambal Belacan
On the second day, we went to the Sarawak Cultural Village. It is about an hour from the city centre. Sarawak Cultural Village is a living museum, which displays Sarawak's ethnic diversity at a glance. You won't want to miss the 45-minutes cultural performance during your visit. Overall, it was a good experience to learn the culture of Sarawak.
That night, we went for dinner at our favourite place, Top Spot! We indulged ourselves in lots of seafood. Yummy!
Butter Prawns
Bamboo Clamps
Ayam Pansuh
Sotong Goreng Sambal
That's all for our short weekend trip this time. Till the next post, thank you.
