Assalamualaikum

Meet my new friends, Bugsy and Bubble. What do you think they are? They're not hamsters, obviously. Yup, they're sugar gliders. Very rare indeed and quite costly for a pet. But who cares, they are so awsome and cute *MasyaAllah*. Look at their round eyes and bushy tails. I can't get my hands off them at first.

Here are some facts about sugar gliders:

-  very sociable but cannot live alone without their own kinds

-  very active, love to jump, swing, and of course, glide

-  cannot be bathed or they may die

-  loves to eat sweet things, especially honey and yougurt

-  other food may be apples, bread worms and insects

Recently, my friend sent me his three little kittens for two days so that I can look after them. The kitttens are very small, cute and adorable *subhanallah*. Since I love cats, especially cute ones, I accepted the offer to take care of them. The eldest, Almond is brown in colour. The middle one is Fluffy with a mix of brown and black fur, while the last one is Shadow which has very black fur. As soon as I brought them home, I gave them food and bathed them before I put them to sleep in their comfy basket. That's the routine for the kittens for two days. They will have their lunch each four to five hours. I really miss them now. Hope to see them soon.

Johor Zoo is located near the Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque in Johor Bahru. It's just a small zoo compared to Zoo Negara in Kuala Lumpur. The entrance fee is also much, much cheaper, which is only RM3 (at the time of my visit in 2009). Since it's quite small in size, there are not many animals kept there. However, I noticed that there are more bird species compared to other species. I did enjoy my visit there though and it was my first visit there.
